Beautiful Boden

Its always dangerous when the new Boden catalogue comes through my door, when it arrived I was desperate to have a look through and choose my favourites. This time they included sticky tabs to put on your favourite pages, thank you Boden you know me too well!

Here's my favourites from the new catalogue, I have quite a dress obsession for autumn and I can't decide which dress to order first, I'm totally in love with the flat points too I would like them in Aubergine they match my Michael Kors handbag. They are also featured in this weeks Look magazine.

I have always liked pink but its my current favourite colour I just can't get enough, I love the shades of these dresses and the flowers too.

Also in Look magazine this week I noticed capes, I missed out on getting a cape last year and when I finally wanted one they had all sold out. This time I shall be buying early, last year I fell in love with a cape by Ted Baker this one by Mango is very similar.

I will keep you updated on any Boden purchases I make, I think it will be the Aubergine points and full length sleeve pink dress!

There's 15% off on orders over £75 plus free delivery and returns.

Moda in Pelle Mary Janes

I posted the other day about a beautiful pair of Mary Jane's I had seen in Moda in Pelle when in town shopping, they were in the wrong section and my size wasn't available. I asked the shop assistant to check online for me and she said they were sold out. When I got home I decided to take a look at there sale online, the shop assistant ether wasn't very good at her job or just didn't bother looking for me because they are available in two colours and several sizes! So I ordered them, I'm pleased I didn't get them in store because I got an extra 10% off online, they were £59.95 down to £18.00 I got them for £16.20 making me very happy!

Here they are....

I'm a uk size 4, euro 37. The shoes are true to size but slightly narrow, I have small slim feet so its not as noticeable to for some they would be too tight. I can't wait to get the opportunity to wear them, maybe they will go in my new overnight bag to Cambridge!

So its time for seasonal transitioning....

I'm sure many of you are finding like me its getting to the time of the year when we have to think about seasonal transitioning. I know in August it seems a bit soon but September isn't far away and evenings are getting cooler. A few weeks ago I couldn't bare to think about Autumn/Winter but now I find myself getting rather excited. I wore this outfit at the weekend the wind was cool so I wanted an in between outfit so I threw on my Topshop Leigh jeans, a Zara tee and my Moda in Pelle boots. I've accessorised with my Liberty's scarf which I love and adore and a Miss Selfridge necklace.

Most of these items apart from my Leigh's were purchased Autumn/Winter 13. Last Christmas I saved all my tips from work and purchased my liberty's scarf. I've had a fascination with Liberty's for some time now and my scarf will always be precious to me. Its silk and quite large so can be worn in Several ways. Liberty's have great videos available to few online with scarf tying ideas.

All though most of what I am wearing is no longer available Autumn/Winter collections for this year have been launched and are definitely worth looking at.

weekend breaks part three.... The Marylebone

I saved the best until last, my favourite place.... The Marylebone London, situated on Welbeck street just behind Debenhams on oxford street its very central.

The Marylebone is a place were you feel special from beginning to end. Its an urban hotel, very clean and contemporary the furnishing are exquisite. When you arrive you are always greeted by the most polite porters whether your  checking in or on your way back from a shopping trip, they open doors, carry your bags, wear a smile and always have something lovely to say. The reception staff are equally as polite offering bottled water and fruit for you to take on your shopping trip.

In the lobby there's lots of seating with complimentary tea and coffee as well as a bar and restaurants. Since I stayed last they have updated downstairs and added a new restaurant so now there is two. I didn't take enough photos last time and promise to take more when I stay next, hopefully that will be sooner rather than later.

The bedrooms are beautiful, the last one I stayed in was the largest. We upgraded so it had a walk in wardrobe and spacious bathroom too. The complimentary toiletries have the most wonderful smell I am always eager to jump in the shower and use them they smell like the spa. The Marylebone has its own spa downstairs attached to the hotel. I have never had any treatments but I've used the sauna, steam room and pool, they also have a gym. There's a private elevator to get you to the pool so you can go in your robe and slippers which are waiting for you in your room when you arrive.

They have a turn down service so when you go up to bed there's chocolates and water waiting for you.

The bar and restaurant is very sleek and chic and open to the public too. The food is delicious and there is a wide variety at breakfast. Last time I had the burger in the evening and also tired tea and scones in the afternoon to finish off our shopping trip and rest our feet ready to go out again in the evening. The staff were very polite and helpful, the chef even came to greet us.

I cant wait for my next stay, why not take a look for yourself....The Marylebone
Prices start from £245.00 per room. The Marylebone is part of The Doyle collection of hotels.

Weekend breaks part two.... Branston Hall

My second favourite place for a weekend break is Branston hall hotel and spa. Its located in Branston just a short 3 mile drive from Lincoln city centre. The hotel sits within 88 acres of parkland and lakes. It has 53 luxury bedrooms, I have stayed in several rooms all of which have been beautiful, last time we had a four poster bed a very spacious room and bathroom.

Most of my spa breaks are with the girls from work so we have 3 or 4 rooms each time and we have never had a complaint, the food is beautiful as is afternoon tea. I've also had room service which was delicious and the service was brilliant.

The spa is situated in the grounds of the hotel and they work along side the hotel with packages like half/full spa days and over night stays. I have tried full days and over night stays. You can also just go to the spa for one off treatments. Simons spa is an Elemis spa which personally is my favourite, they also have a city centre medi spa in Lincoln. On arrival you are taken through to the conservatory which is a very relaxing room with huge comfy sofas, you are given drinks, your itinerary and a locker key. After having your day explained you go to your locker and put your swim wear and dressing gown and head to the hot tub outside. You can stay in the hot tub until your collected by your therapist for your treatments. Or if you prefer you can come inside and relax. If you are all having lunch at the spa you all have that at the same time in the main house and then go back over to the spa to continue treatments in the afternoon. there is a swimming pool you can use and it has the most beautiful painting on the walls and a Jacuzzi but its in the main house.

I tend to choose the same treatments because I have favourites, the Lime and Ginger salt glow and visual brilliance facial. I've also had pedicures, spray tans, minx wraps, strawberry back cleanses and false lashes to name a few. The therapists are always friendly, welcoming and very professional.

Why don't you take a look at the website....  http://www.branstonhall.com/

A closer look at my Marc Jacobs Cardigan...

I am really pleased with my Marc Jacobs Cardigan the wool is so soft and doesn't irritate my skin at all like some other woollen cardigans I have. When you purchase from Covetique everything has a rating and the cardigan was rated as being in excellent condition and it really is, It looks brand new it's been very well looked after and doesn't appear to of had much use. The ratings on the website are really helpful they let you know the condition of the item and there's normally several photos of each item too.

My Cardigan was £49 it was reduced from £100 and I think the original price was around £200. You really get make some big savings on beautiful designer items.

The Cardigan has sequins on it in the shape of a blazer and two very pretty flowers on the pocket, the buttons are make from sequins and they press stud together. As you can see the front of the Cardigan is plain navy blue with sequins and the back is navy blue with metallic gold stripes. It's made from a wool blend 95% extra fine wool and 5% metallic.
